February 28^th, 2002

Restored the 4th Doctor and Villains sections back to the DWWA.  The Doctor Who WAV Archive is now fully operational once again.  Now, if my service provider can just sort out their server problems... 

February 22^nd, 2002

Restored the 7th Doctor and Cybermen sections back to the DWWA.  One last update to go...

Bandwidth problems necessitated another quick hop to our new home, http://www.dwwa.net/ .  Phew!  The best part about this unforeseen change in plans is that I now have unlimited space again, so the WAV Archive will be fully restored in the near future.  I just need to update the links and graphics...  

January 5^th, 2002

With hopefully a more stable home (and a larger one) the WAV Archive is due for some re-expansion back to its former glory days.  Look for further updates to include re-opening other sections of the Archive as well as new WAV files.  All of the clips featuring the 2nd Doctor are still available.  Additionally, clips from the 8th Doctor's era have been included (mainly from the excellent range of audio adventures produced by Big Finish).  

There are 197 newly recorded 8th Doctor clips to go along with the ones already on the Archive.  Enjoy.

Well, a big fat turd landed on the DWWA's lap in August.  Free webhosting was discontinued by NBCI.com.  The search for a new home with enough space to house the entire archive turned up empty.  So, I've gone to plan B (which is to rotate Doctors every other month).  With luck I can have several Doctors available at a time.  We'll see in December if it will work.  Which reminds me.  December should feature Paul McGann as the 8th Dr. and will (hopefully) include clips from his first four Big Finish adventures.  

As for the Second Doctor.  There are 151 newly recorded clips to go along with the ones already on the Archive.  Enjoy.

The Villains page has been split up into Daleks, Cybermen, The Master, and Other Villains sections.  A frequent visitor was kind enough to point out a URL problem for Resurrection of the Daleks (now fixed).  Thanks!  
I've also plunged into some of the Big Finish audio adventures recently, and have decided to include some clips from episode 4 of their first story, The Sirens of Time.  

Plans for the DWWA this summer include recording some clips from The Ice Warriors (2nd Dr.), Fury from the Deep (2nd Dr.), The Green Death (3rd Dr.) and The Visitation (5th Dr.) as well as some other Big Finish stories (requests anyone?).  I'm also leaning heavily towards an oft requested feature: including a Zipped copy of available WAVs (Zipped by story, most likely).
Speaking of which, the next update will be August 2001.

.Some broken links have been found and repaired (thanks to those of you who have e-mailed me with the problems you've encountered).  It has greatly sped up the repair time.  I've also done some number crunching and have added a statistics page for anyone curious just how many WAV files there are in the Archive.

Temporarily posted a 1995 and 1997 version of the DWWA for the sake of nostalgia.  Also made some minor alterations to the layout/design of the Archive pages.
