Full Circle

Join the crew of the TARDIS for Doctor Who’s legendary time-traveling adventure, the E-Space Trilogy.  The TARDIS has been drawn into an alternate universe, thrusting the Doctor and Romana into a weird realm of strange planets, treacherous creatures and bizarre echoes of the universe they left behind.  Escape from E-Space will present the Doctor and friends with their greatest challenge ever-if they can survive long enough to try.

Volume 1 - Full Circle

A navigational anomaly brings the TARDIS to the planet Alzarius. The Doctor and Romana find its only inhabitants are living on a vast, crashed spaceship they have been repairing for generations to return to their home planet, Terradon. But Mistfall, a mythical time of terror, is coming again to Alzarius, and an eerie menace is rising out of the misty marshes. The Doctor discovers the TARDIS has fallen into E-Space, an alternate universe. But why have huge poisonous spiders begun to appear in the Alzarian food supply? And what is the secret of the strange marshmen? The Doctor and Romana must solve these riddles and more if they are to have any chance of returning to their own universe.

 

• "Full Circle" begins what is commonly known today as the E-Space Trilogy.   It is a series of 3 stories which detail the TARDIS and her crew falling into an alternate universe, the smaller E-Space.  By the end of the trilogy, the Doctor and his crew make it back to N-Space (or normal space).

• The other two stories in the E-Space Trilogy are "State of Decay" and "Warriors' Gate."

• A new companion joins the crew in this adventure, Adric (played by Matthew Waterhouse).   Adric stows on board the TARDIS before it departs.

• Although technically this is Matthew Waterhouse's first story with Doctor Who, he had already filmed "State of Decay" before this story in order to give Waterhouse time to acclimate to the character.  Much the same thing was done for Peter Davison (Doctor #5) in his debut story "Castrovalva." 

• "Full Circle" was originally written by a 19 year old Doctor Who fan.   However, the story needed much reworking and by the time the finished product was done it had little resemblance to its original.  However, credit is given to the original writer.
