| 1st Doctor The Web Planet (VHS | DVD) This story tries so hard to be good, but it just isn't. It's a shame, really, because this is such an ambitious story for it's day. What really brings it to the level of silliness is the atrociously bad acting by the Menoptera. "Liqquuiiiiiid DEATH!!!" It's great for a laugh, though!
| 2nd Doctor The Underwater Menace (VHS | DVD | CD) A mad scientist, fish people, the lost city of Atlantis, Sean the lovable Irishman, and the Almighty Goddess Amdo; what a lethal combination! The storyline is so absurd it's hilarious. And the icing on this particular cake comes from the great OTT (Over The Top) performances by Professor Zaroff ("Nozing in ze vorld can stop me now!!!") and High Priest Lolam ("May the wrath of Amdo engulf you!"). Don't miss this one!

| 3rd Doctor Invasion of the Dinosaurs (VHS | DVD) Jurassic Park this ain't! The story is actually top notch in my opinion. What drags this story down to this particular hall of fame is the rather obvious latex puppet dinosaurs littered throughout the story. But who cares, they make this story all the more enjoyable for their cheesiness!
| 4th Doctor The Horns of Nimon (VHS | DVD) The Nimon be praised! The chief baddie Soldeed is played here by the great Graham Crowden (actually a contender for the role of Doctor Who at one point). He plays Soldeed to the hilt complete with maniacle death cackling. The Nimon costumes put the final nail in the coffin of this rather silly story. But never mind, that's what makes it soooo much fun to watch. One of my favorite Tom Baker stories. Warts and all...

| 5th Doctor Four to Doomsday (VHS | DVD) One unpleasant quality of the Davison era is that when a story goes bad, it really goes bad. This story is rare in that it is both bad and enjoyable at the same time. Here it isn't the guest stars that derail things, but rather the regulars. By the end of the story, you are oh sooo wishing that Monarch would just kill Tegan and the Doctor would off Adric for being so bloody annoying. Perhaps that will make it into the directors cut DVD...
| 6th Doctor Timelash (VHS | DVD) What isn't there to love about this story. Let's start with the phallic shaped monster shall we. To add insult to injury, it seems to have a thing for poor Peri. Whatever her salary for that scene was, it wasn't enough. And then there's Paul Darrow ("Tekker"). Stick a fork in him, cause that ham's done. The best part though, is the Doctor and his continuous abuse of H.G. Wells throughout the story. Whoops, did I just give away an important plot point...
| 7th Doctor The Happiness Patrol (VHS | DVD) While all the other stories I've listed are good because they're bad, I think this one is just plain good... though not many would agree with me! What could be more subversively funny than an evil, sadistic, screaming tyrant made completely out of sweets? The slick Silas P and the homicidal Pricilla P. are terrific. And Helen A's final scene with Fifi still gives me chills even to this day. "I'm glad you're happy..."
