Polly-
(the TARDIS door closes) Good heavens!
Ben-
Blimey! Where did all this come from?!! (TARDIS begins to take off)
Well, it was a police box, wasn't it?
1st
Dr.- WHAT ARE YOU BOTH DOING IN HERE?!!
Polly-
Doctor you. . .
1st
Dr.- How dare you follow me into the TARDIS!
Ben-
The wha?
1st
Dr.- The TARDIS, sir! This is a vessel for traveling through time and
space!
(The Smugglers, 188Kb)
1st Dr.- Why did you follow me?!!.
(The Smugglers, 13Kb)
1st Dr.- You are now traveling through time
and space.
(The Smugglers, 39Kb)
1st Dr.- Well, there doesn't seem to appear
any . . . Victorian restoration. I think it could be anytime after
the 16th century.
(The Smugglers, 73Kb)
1st Dr.- I have no control over where I
land. Neither can I choose the period in which I land in.
(The Smugglers, 61Kb)
1st Dr.- Well, I suppose I shall have to chase
after them. Quite incapable of looking after themselves (chuckles to
himself).
(The Smugglers, 80Kb)
Polly- Are you coming with us, Doctor?
1st Dr.- (irritated) Oh yes, yes!.
(The Smugglers, 45Kb)
1st Dr.- (sternly) Those controls are used
for dematerializing.
(The Smugglers, 34Kb)
1st Dr.- (TARDIS doors opening) Ohhh dear,
all this distraction. And I really thought I was going to be alone again
(laughs).
(The Smugglers, 90Kb)
1st Dr.- Well, I don't think so somehow.
(The Smugglers, 16Kb)
1st Dr.- Oh dear, I suppose I'd better
follow them . . . see that they don't get into any harm (chuckles).
(The Smugglers, 86Kb)
1st Dr.- (from a distance) Oh, good
gracious!
(The Smugglers, 14Kb)
1st Dr.- Yes, I wonder. (laughs) Yes!
I wonder!
(The Smugglers, 61Kb)
Ben- Look, Doctor, what I wanna know is how
are you going to get us out of here?
1st Dr.- Ohh, we shall return to the
TARDIS, my boy, when the tide recedes. And lets hope that we . . . uh . .
. materialize in 1966 (chuckles).
Polly- You don't sound very certain,
Doctor.
1st Dr.- No, I'm afraid I'm not my dear.
Its more likely we shall probably land in the far distant future.
Ben- Ohhh, great! The way things are
going there probably won't BE a Navy when I get back.
1st Dr.- Hmmm . . .
(The Smugglers, 240Kb)
1st Dr.- Yes, I'm afraid you're going to
lose your BET young man. That, gentlemen, comes from the 17th century
(giggles)!
Ben- (incredulous)- 17th century?!!
(The Smugglers, 95Kb)
Polly- When ARE we going to land?
1st Dr.- I don't know. And that's
cause of half my troubles through my journeys. I never know!
(The Smugglers, 66Kb)
Polly- So we ARE in our own time after all.
Ben- Yeah, you didn't really believe all
that nonsense about past and future, did you?
(The Smugglers, 59Kb)
1st Dr.- Yes, I think its quite normal.
(The Smugglers, 25Kb)
1st Dr.- (laughs) You may know where you
are, my dears, but not when. Oh, I can foresee oodles of trouble (laughs
again).
(The Smugglers, 16Kb)
Polly- Doctor, you MUST take us back.
1st Dr.- I'm not going to take you back to
London in the TARDIS.
Ben- So you refuse, eh?!!
1st Dr.- (chuckles) My dear young man . . .
Ben- Oh come on, Polly. We'll find our
own way back.
(The Smugglers, 88Kb)
1st Dr.- Yeah well uh . . . make sure I get
back by tea time, Doctor. I've got to get back to me ship by tonight.
1st Dr.- Young man, its going to be a LONG
time before you see your ship again!
(The Smugglers, 80Kb)
1st Dr.- Yes, the temperature is all right.
(The Smugglers, 19Kb)
1st Dr.- (yelling into the distance) We
can't be too sure, my boy!
(The Smugglers, 22Kb)
1st Dr.- Well, I think you can leave, but .
. . watch your step.
(The Smugglers, 40Kb)
